Things to do before booking your trip to Ranthambhore
** Always check for Tiger safari availability before you plan your travel, believe me you won't able to find anything there and Hotel/guides will make you fool that they will book you safari - if they say so ask them to give you written confirmation from Zone1 to Zone 8 only ( X not Zone 9)

Zone 9 - Its created to make tourist fool. But Safari was an awesome experience 

weather is pleasant on 31 dec even not at all shivering like Delhi.

Tiger Safari - you need to book your Gypsy/Canter 3 months before your travelled date if you are really interested in seeing tiger for Zone 1 to Zone 8

1 Old fort -  Good to visit, ride till fort is adventurous, must to visit

Jaipur - 150 KM ( but very bad roads, will take approx 4 Hours to reach Jaipur, Suggestion - Don't spoil you trip if you have just 3 ~4 days. If you have more than 4 days then you may plan for Jaipur but start early in the morning to avoid Jaipur Morning traffic

- Mall road ( must Try momo at pastry shop at the end of Mall road)

- Visited Dainkund PEAK (Drive was awesome )  - Tourists can enjoy 360° view of the entire valley from this peak. The sound of the breeze passing through the trees makes a musical sound, due to which this peak has also acquired

- Kalatop wild life sanctuary (very ok ok , only deers , go if you have nothing to do )

Tarekshwar Temple - Divine and exotic - Driving ... flying in the Hills (Awesome experience)

Tadkeshwar Mahadev temple is at the distance of about 40 KM from the main city. If you are a experienced driver you can drive through easily for new learners plz don't try this road. But the temple is located inside the forest,  The place was quite, beautiful and full of long devdar trees..from main gate to temple you have to walk at least for 15 minutes bit it was quite amazing. 
Stay there for as long as you want. 
   Try to Sync in with Nature.

From Delhi it takes 13 hours to reach manali - Overnight Journey : Always do booking on HPTDC VOLVO BUS, very nice experience, nice/clean bus, with ample leg space

- Rohatang Pass -  Before your travel plan - check for which days it is open and is it open whne you are travelling 

** Someties Rohatang Pass is shut down due to many reasons, there is another point which is always available GULABA (must visit for your manali experience)

- HADIMBA TEMPLE (1 km) : Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway.
MONASTERIES : There are three recently built Tibetan monasteries at Manali.
SOLANG VALLEY(14 km) : In a picturesque setting this has good ski slopes and picnic spots.  - paragliding are best experienced here.
Beas River is often described as the Heart of Kullu valley and is known for its various camping spots and water sports.
- Rafting in Kullu Manali begins at around 10 o' clock in the morning at Pirdi. Pirdi is 45 kms from Manali and hence, recommended starting time from Manali is 8 o'clock. This activity will require one full day.
